Recently, after GFriend's comeback with title song "Fingertip", netizens noticed a specific similarity in Fingertip's choreography to Infinite's "Be Mine," leading to accusations of "plagiarism" towards GFriend.
In answer to posts accusing GFriend of plagiarism such as "It is absolutely not a common dance step. Plagiarism is plagiarism." Netizens refuted these claims by posting GIFs of Godai Aku Lagi by the Indonesian pop singer, Agnes Monica. Which served as proofs against the plagiarism claims then pointing out that "As it turns out that it's a common dance step."

Because of this, various online Korean communities were filled with GIFs of Agnes Monica, Infinite and GFriend.
Infinite's Be Mine was released on 2011 while Agnes Monica's Godai Aku Lagi was released on 2009. So Agnes Monica's song was already release even before Be Mine was released.
These posts received replies like "GFriend are so pitiful" and "It was a very common dance step" among others.
Meanwhile, GFriend causing another strong wind as they get everyone's attention with their powerful performances most especially with their point dance "Tangtangtang" which is spreading like wildfire.

By the way I'm one of those people who first found out about this including majority of Buddies. That Indonesian singer is the first one to release that choreography but it's not Infinite who plagiarized first. Unless its the choreography of the whole song, and the dance step is not copyrighted then we cannot call it plagiarism. Also, it is not Infinite's choreography and I want to tell you that it is a very common dance step. Please do not misunderstand and please stop having more arguments.

Let's put an end for this please. It's not plagiarism, period. Infinite did not plagiarize from a foreign artist and neither GFriend plagiarize from Infinite. Instead, it is just a very common dance step. Let's just work hard streaming our group's songs instead of fighting each other.

If plagiarism is to be strictly recognized, then Poppin' Hyun Joon would be collecting a lot of money already. *laughing* Even popular Japanese idol groups doesn't make a fuss out of this. Also how malicious it is to make a big deal about it when it is just a fraction of a second. *laughing*

I really can't understand. How can you call it plagiarism when there is just a very small similarity in the choreography. You don't even have clear standard and confirmations.
