[Naver] GFriend To Release First Funky Disco Song On March 6

Girl group GFriend to release their new song this March 6 at noon.

March 1, a Source Music agency representative revealed, "GFriend's new mini-album "The Awakening" is to be released this incoming March 6 at noon."

Recently, it was reported that Korean Music Chart sites are going to enforce that songs released outside 12 PM to 6 PM KST will be added to the chart starting at 1 PM of the following afternoon.

Also, GFriend is challenging themselves with a completely different genre, funky disco, for their title song "Fingertip". The song expresses how a strong and independent woman manipulates the heart of the person she loves. They are rapidly gaining attention as the showcased the mature image of GFriend never seen before. Additionally, the song's funky disco vibe is flavored with the rock sound unique to GFriend songs.
